LVMH’s Prize for Young Fashion Designers, launched in 2013, invites global designers aged 18-40 who have at least two collections to apply for its 12th edition starting on 13th November 2024. Applications close on 12th January 2025, with the semi-finals on 5th-6th March 2025. Three awards totaling up to 400,000 euros are given, including tailored mentorships. LVMH has supported fashion schools and young graduates, offering them contracts and financial assistance. Inaugurated today in the presence of Brigitte Macron, Mayor of Le Havre, Edouard Philippe, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, Bernard Arnault, and, Chantal Gaemperle, Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies, the LIVE campus – L’Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi – in Le Havre, is the first to be located in western France, thereby strengthening the institute’s territorial coverage.

The final of the 11th edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers took place on 10th September 2024 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Eight artistic directors from LVMH Houses took part, including Jonathan Anderson, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Nigo, Phoebe Philo, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Pharrell Williams, along with Delphine Arnault, Jean-Paul Claverie and Sidney Toledano. The actress, film director and producer Natalie Portman did us the honour of joining the 2024 Jury. Derek Blasberg and Wisdom Kaye hosted the 2024 award ceremony.
Among the eight finalists, the Jury awarded the LVMH Prize to Ellen Hodakova Larsson, 32, a Swedish designer, founder of the womenswear brand Hodakova. She will receive a 400,000€ endowment and will be mentored for one year by a team of LVMH experts.

Scores of guests, including celebrities like Vanessa Williams, Fredro Starr, Lena Waithe, and Tracee Ellis Ross, fashion brands, and fans, were in attendance to witness a spectacular fashion showcase from presenting designers Aaron Potts, LaTouché, and Nicole Benefield. Boss also presented a capsule collection designed by legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell.
