Silbon has presented the results obtained from its charitable collaboration with Lourdes Montes in support of the Aladina Foundation

- The charitable collection Lourdes Montes x Silbon has raised a total of €5,000, which will be donated to the Aladina Foundation.

The Cordoban company Silbon has presented the results of its charitable collaboration with Lourdes Montes in support of the Aladina Foundation. Earlier this year, the Andalusian fashion brand, together with the Sevillian designer, created the charitable capsule collection ‘Lourdes X Silbon’.
Through this partnership, the firm joined forces with the Aladina Foundation and its support programs for children with cancer, pledging to donate 10% of the sales revenue. The total amount raised was €5,000.
Pablo López, CEO and founder of Silbon, highlights, “This initiative has been a great success. On one hand, it has allowed us to reaffirm Silbon’s commitment to society with a significant donation, and on the other, it has given us the opportunity to work with designer Lourdes Montes, resulting in a spectacular outcome that marks a before and after in our SILBON WOMAN line.”
Meanwhile, Ishtar Espejo, the director of the Aladina Foundation, states, “The support of charitable brands like Silbon is a gift for Aladina, not just because of the financial contribution – which certainly helps us make our projects and programs possible – but also because it helps to raise awareness of childhood cancer.”
The program to which the funds will be allocated is the extraordinary aid fund for children with cancer. Nowadays, childhood cancer affects many aspects: economic, logistical, family, social, etc., and has various consequences for the families of the afflicted children. Through this fund, the Aladina Foundation takes care of covering extraordinary expenses and needs of families with a child suffering from cancer. Wigs, wheelchairs, hearing aids, physiotherapy sessions, travel, financial aid, and funeral expenses are some of the types of assistance provided by the Foundation.
