The luxury cruise ship Evrima, from the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain, arrives in Seville for the Fair

The luxury cruise ship Evrima, owned by the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain, has arrived at the Port of Seville for the first time. This ship, built in Spain and launched in 2018, features eight decks and five restaurants, one of which is advised by three-Michelin-star chef Sven Elverfeld.

Evrima arrives in Seville during the April Fair with around 300 passengers on board. To mark this first stop at the Port of Seville, the president of the Seville Port Authority, Rafael Carmona, presented Captain Darin Bowland with a commemorative plaque, as reported in a press release.

This ship marks Ritz-Carlton's first venture into the cruise segment and is currently docked at the Muelle de Tablada, where the Port Authority has set up a passenger reception area, passport control, and around-the-clock security of the facilities.

During the April Fair, the Port of Seville has welcomed four cruise ships and eight yachts and megayachts. In total, the forecasts for 2024 anticipate about 80 stops, including those requested by cruise ships and those of the Belle de Cadix with Seville as its home port. The last cruise of the year will arrive on November 22.

The Port of Seville has become a regular cruise stop. Within the luxury cruise market segment, the Port Authority is working to consolidate Seville as a destination and is strengthening its commercial efforts with major shipping companies by promoting the advantages of this inland maritime port.
