A burst of colorful creativity for Loewe Spring-Summer women’s collection

For their first collection as Creative Directors of Loewe, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez featured a work by artist Ellsworth Kelly.

Titled Yellow Panel with Red Curve (1989), the piece’s vivid colorful forms embody a fresh vision for the House.     

Anchored by yellow and red hues, the collection draws on the deep connections between Loewe and Spanish culture, art and craft. Primary colors exude an affirmed sensuality, including a sweater knotted directly over bare skin, and their sun-drenched energy radiates from hats to shoes. Combinations of bold block colors cascade on long striped dresses, continuing across two-tone tights. The palette resonates with elegant clarity as shades soften into pastels.  

Sportswear and outdoor influences emerge in parkas, anoraks and tank tops. Wardrobe staples from jeans to bomber jackets catch the eye with a contemporary aesthetic. Shorts and mini dresses spotlight a dynamic, energetic spirit. The collection’s leatherwork reaffirms Loewe’s nearly 200-year heritage of exquisite artisanal excellence. Meticulously hidden seams on sculptural jackets reshape the body’s silhouette. The Amazona 180 introduces a re-invention of an icon, underscoring the laid-back attitude. Loewe’s identity celebrates heritage, creative freedom and optimism.
