Saudi Arabia Builds a $63 Billion Luxury Heritage Empire

The Diriyah Company (DCO) is accelerating the creation of one of the world’s most ambitious luxury developments, valued at US $63.2 billion. Part of the Saudi Vision 2030 strategy, the project transforms the historic At-Turaif district into a global hub for culture, heritage, and luxury living.

The master plan includes ultra-luxury hotels, branded residences, and retail experiences that fuse traditional Najdi architecture with contemporary design. Major global houses are already studying entry strategies to secure presence in what many call the “new Beverly Hills of the Gulf.”

Recent contracts worth over $50 million have been awarded for Phase 2 of the project, while Saudi giga-projects collectively exceed $196 billion in active contracts.

Luxonomy Insight: Diriyah signifies the evolution of luxury destinations — not just a flagship store, but an entire city built as a living, breathing brand experience.
