Orchestrated by Antoine de Caunes, the “Rock’n’Drôle” (Rock’n’Fun) exhibition has the Bon Marché Rive Gauche department store rocking through October 19.

France’s premier rock fan Antoine de Caunes takes over the store, bringing a rock’n’roll beat to every floor, and even reprising his cult Canal+ TV character Didier Lembrouille for the occasion.

The main floor features a deep dive into the concert and backstage scene with a selection of 70s-inspired rock fashion must-haves. Exclusive offerings include upcycled accessories from Atelier Costa, vinyl records by iconic groups from Big Smile Bazar, and t-shirts emblazoned with signature phrases by artist Thomas Lelu.

The first floor takes a cue from recording studios with a Gibson space where wannabe guitar heros can strum a variety of axes, plus a Kiliwatch thrift store to dig up the perfect jacket and the trendy Paris concept store Bonjour Jacob. The second floor has been transformed into a life-size ten-room Rock Motel imagined by Antoine de Caunes, whose voice invites visitors on a guided tour. Included are items from his personal collection, along with a selection of records and books.

From fashion and beauty to design, food and great stuff for kids, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is definitely ready to make some noise!
