Dior Gold House in Bangkok, an extraordinary stop on the Dior Around the World odyssey

Dior has inaugurated Dior Gold House in Bangkok, an amazing new concept store in the heart of the city’s Ploenchit district. The store will change with the seasons and collections, adding an exceptional stop on the Dior Around the World odyssey.
Merging cultures and savoir-faire, Dior Gold House takes visitors on a bewitching immersion in a reinvented “kingdom of dreams”. The spectacular structure reproduces the iconic façade of the townhouse at 30, avenue Montaigne, adorned entirely in gold by master Thai artisans. Inside, visitors discover the House’s different worlds, from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s ready-to-wear to menswear by Kim Jones, all in a refined, ultra-contemporary atmosphere. Dior symbols including the lucky star and toile de Jouy are featured in the heart of a paradisiacal garden, set off by bamboo, exotic wood and raffia.
Dior Gold House also exhibits works by emblematic Thai artists, spotlighting Franco-Thai cultural dialogue. Upon entering the verdant garden, visitors are greeted by installations created from elephant footprints by Boonserm Premthada, as well as a reinterpretation of the famous tuk-tuk of Bangkok streets conceived specially for Dior by Saran Yen Panya of 56th Studio. Sculptures by Wishulada Panthanuvong subtly grace the interior of the concept store, encouraging awareness of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Café Dior by Mauro Colagreco offers a delicate pause suffused with elegantly delectable delights. The scenography by Korakot Aromdee revisits enchanting flora and fauna in bamboo. Three Michelin-star chef. Mauro Colagreco has crafted an exceptional menu, fusing haute cuisine and haute couture, inspired by the cycles of nature.
Dior Gold House in Bangkok embodies Dior’s creative effervescence, forging new connections between French and Thai excellence, shaped by bold imagination. This singular address melds innovation and tradition in a celebration of savoir-faire and excellence.
