Como una historia de \u00e9xito durante la pandemia, Desserto comparti\u00f3 su experiencia de colaboraci\u00f3n conjunta con Givenchy Parfums durante el LMVH VivaTech Par\u00eds, en donde el conglomerado Louis Vuitton Mo\u00ebt Hennessy), multinacional franc\u00e9s l\u00edder absoluto en lujo y due\u00f1o de 76 marcas de renombre en todo el mundo present\u00f3 las innovaciones de sus Maisons y de las empresas emergentes asociadas durante la s\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n del evento, celebrada recientemente en Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.<\/p>\n

Desde su creaci\u00f3n en 2016, VivaTech se ha convertido en el mayor evento tecnol\u00f3gico y de startups de Europa. Este a\u00f1o, no menos de 18 LVMH Maisons presentaron 25 innovaciones en dos espacios dedicados: The Dream Box y The LVMH Court.<\/p>\n

Robin, gerente de aceleraci\u00f3n en el departamento de innovaci\u00f3n abierta de LVMH dirgi\u00f3 el conversatorio entre Armel-Yver, gerente de sostenibilidad en Givenchy Beauty y Adri\u00e1n L\u00f3pez Velarde, cofundador de Desserto, la empresa mexicana creadora del material alternativo a la piel animal hecho a base de cactus. Ambos compartieron esta experiencia M\u00e9xico-Francia durante la pandemia, una etapa mundial muy compleja para todos los los sectores.<\/p>

The Dream Box es un escenario en el que el Grupo y sus Maisons exhibieron algunas de las innovaciones que contribuyen a la misi\u00f3n de LVMH de crear los sue\u00f1os de sus clientes. Dream Box fue tambi\u00e9n el hogar de las 18 empresas emergentes finalistas del Premio a la Innovaci\u00f3n LVMH 2023, as\u00ed como de seis empresas emergentes exalumnas cuyas soluciones ya han ayudado a mejorar la experiencia del cliente del ma\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos usando Desserto en nuestro primer b\u00e1lsamo labial l\u00edquido marmolado Couture Rose Perfecto en un innovador estuche vegano a base de cactus\u201d, dijo el representante de Givenchy y \u201cen ese entonces busc\u00e1bamos alternativas al cuero. As\u00ed que investigamos mucho para encontrar la mejor soluci\u00f3n para nosotros y , como parte de esta investigaci\u00f3n, realmente quer\u00edamos reducir el impacto ambiental de este material\u201d.<\/p>

Adri\u00e1n L\u00f3pez Velarde record\u00f3 c\u00f3mo en 2020 Desserto particip\u00f3 en el premio LVMH en 2020 y obtuvo menci\u00f3n especial en el premio a la innovaci\u00f3n y favorito dentro de la categor\u00eda de materiales. \u201cFue como un sue\u00f1o hecho realidad que pensamos ser\u00eda perfecto, sin embargo, cuando se acerc\u00f3 Givenchy hubo muchos desaf\u00edos por los controles de calidad que hay que hubo que cumplir. El Cactus es una planta, es materia org\u00e1nica. Entonces siempre cambia y fue muy dif\u00edcil estandarizar eso\u201d.<\/p>\n

Armel, de Givenchy relat\u00f3 que ese fue un gran ejercicio porque son una empresa muy grande que cuenta con un sistema de servicio para controlar el origen del material, y lo hicieron en auditor\u00edas remotas en los campos de nopal de Desserto, as\u00ed como auditor\u00edas sociales en M\u00e9xico para estar realmente seguros de que el origen del material estaba perfectamente en l\u00ednea con sus requisitos.<\/p>\n

A\u00f1adi\u00f3 \u201cinvestigamos tambi\u00e9n para tratar realmente de integrar la m\u00e1xima cantidad de cactus manteniendo los requisitos de calidad que ten\u00edamos. Y para ello desde el principio decidimos integrar una agencia LCA, es decir, una agencia de an\u00e1lisis del ciclo de vida para estar realmente seguros de la elecci\u00f3n desde una perspectiva ambiental, porque no es solo al agregar un material a base de cactus realmente mejora el impacto ambiental de su producto. Hicimos muchos intercambios con Desserto para intentar maximizar la integraci\u00f3n de Cactus.
